About the role
We’re looking for a Visionary ACD Copywriter to join us in our continued mission to build a best-in-class global creative studio for Visa and the clients we serve. The ideal candidate will have a copy background as well as a strategic mindset, with a proven track record of leading highly successful campaigns and teams—either within advertising agencies or at brand-side internal creative studios.
This person should have experience running and supporting award-winning advertising campaigns (global scale is a plus), with a deep understanding of creative that works throughout the funnel. They must have a passion and a portfolio to prove how their creative campaigns have influenced culture and been part of cultural conversations. Fresh, unique thinking in this space is a must. The art of writing is crucial. They must be strategic in their thinking and able to articulate and execute strategy through creative output. They must stay ahead of trends and ensure the brands they touch are current, innovative, and forward-looking.
Collaboration is key—this role will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure best-in-class creative is implemented in a fast-paced environment, pitching ideas, writing campaigns, and developing full-funnel concepts.
Responsibilities
- Build a Center of Creative Excellence by leading with exceptional writing, regardless of the brief.
- Pitch breakthrough creative ideas that align with strategic briefs.
- Build and maintain key relationships with marketing executives by demonstrating a deep understanding of campaign needs and a commitment to creative excellence.
- Consistently deliver best-in-class creative campaigns for the Visa brand and client marketing.
- Innovate and stay ahead of advertising trends to ensure Visa remains a future-forward brand.
- Influence and inspire global teams with beautifully crafted and strategic creative campaigns.
- Care deeply about every part of the funnel—upper, middle, and lower—ensuring every asset matters.
- Lead, inspire, and collaborate with internal teams and client partners.
- Build client relationships with strong presentation skills to influence creative decisions.
- Foster a culture of remarkable creativity by providing inspiration and passion for the work.
- Ensure quality output in all creative deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
- 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD (preferred).
- Deep agency-side or brand-side experience working with or at global brands.
- Thought leadership in highly successful (award-winning a plus) creative, brand development, and multichannel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working on campaigns that have driven outsized business results and won industry recognition.
- Experience working on successful pitches.
- Proactive in ideation and excellent communication with proven ability to present to clients and leadership.

- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including impactful presentations.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $134,600.00 to $215,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

Schedule
