Associate Creative Director
Job Summary
As an Associate Creative Director (Copy), you will champion the development and execution of standout creative concepts with a deep emphasis on copy, brand voice, and storytelling. Partnering closely with senior creative leaders, art directors, and cross-functional teams, you will lead the creation of compelling copy and messaging strategies across marketing campaigns and channels.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Creative Director in guiding and mentoring the copy team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high-quality messaging and written concepts.
- Provide day-to-day creative direction and feedback on projects, maintaining brand consistency and alignment with creative briefs and objectives.
- Partner with marketing, medical, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative, compelling campaigns tailored to deliver key messages and strengthen brand identity through powerful writing.
- Oversee execution of written deliverables across print, digital, and multimedia, ensuring timely, accurate, and highly engaging output.
- Stay informed on copywriting and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas to elevate written content and enhance client impact.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of professional copy experience, with prior experience in a senior or team leadership role (Associate Creative Director, Art Director, or similar).
- Agency Pharma experience required.
- Experience pitching new business is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe InCopy, and familiarity with design and collaboration tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- A strong grasp of messaging hierarchy, tone, voice, and storytelling principles, with a keen awareness of current trends and best practices in digital and print content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with creative, strategy, and client teams to ensure messaging is compelling and on-brand.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills, effectively handling multiple copy projects in fast-paced environments.
- A strong conceptual thinker with a proven ability to turn strategy and objectives into fresh, effective messaging and big campaign ideas.
- A detail-oriented individual with the ability to provide constructive, actionable feedback to copywriters and elevate the overall quality of written work.
