Associate Counsel - Bronx, NY (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Research laws and prepare legal briefs and opinions
• Provide liability and damages opinions for the Claims Department
• Draft and manage pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Defend cases through trials or dispositive hearings
• Handle depositions and examinations under oath

Qualifications

• 2 to 6+ years of insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation experience
• Juris Doctor degree required
• Affiliation with the New York Bar required
• Maintain good standing license in New York, including CLE requirements
• Ability to travel for trials and meetings
• Excellent written documentation skills for clear communication
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities

Pay

$118,900 – $186,550 annually
