Associate Counsel

Pavilion Payments is looking for an Associate Counsel to join our Legal team in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys partnering with the business, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives, and helping drive practical solutions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Approximately 90% of this role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements while also supporting licensing, regulatory, and other corporate legal matters within the gaming and payments industries. What You'll Be DoingDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, SaaS, licensing, and professional services contractsPartner with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Procurement, and other business teams to support business initiativesIdentify legal and commercial risks while providing practical, business-focused guidanceSupport gaming licensing, regulatory, and other corporate legal mattersHelp improve legal processes, contract templates, and legal operations Required QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar3–5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal departmentExperience drafting and negotiating commercial contractsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting payments, FinTech, gaming, SaaS, or other regulated industriesExperience partnering with cross-functional business teamsFamiliarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platformsNevada Bar admission or ability to become licensed in Nevada Perks & Benefits!A great company that is focused on team building and career pathing for its team!Join a team that is fun, friendly, and customer-focused!Excellent employee benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, and more!
