Associate Counsel

About the role

The ideal candidate will have first-rate legal and business acumen, excellent leadership and customer service skills, and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, with an emphasis on revenue-generating customer agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to Parexel’s various business units.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of Parexel’s guidelines and processes.
• Establish highly collaborative, productive relationships with Parexel clients, other business partners, and colleagues.
• Analyze complex business and legal issues/risks to achieve practical solutions.
• Manage and prioritize multiple and varied negotiations with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully drive negotiations.
• Consistently meet internal and external timelines.

Qualifications

• J.D. and Bar Admission required.
• Preference for 3-6 years’ experience in a large multi-national law firm and/or in-house experience supporting commercial operations and negotiating key transactions for a global corporation, ideally in the life sciences.
