The Legal department at Longevity is seeking a talented attorney for a hybrid position. This role offers opportunities to work on a variety of legal matters and collaborate with business unit leaders.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Perform routine legal work
• Effectively partner with more experienced attorneys on complex/significant matters
• Interest and ability to learn business issues
• Provide support to the businesses
• Aid with corporate governance and formalities
• Manage corporate licenses
• Draft and review agreements
• Legal and business issue spotting
• Support more experienced attorneys with contract negotiations
• Legal research and presentation on regulatory, compliance, privacy, litigation, or other legal matters
• Absorb and respond to litigation and subpoenas
• Aid with diligence or integration in M&A
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Location and Physical Requirements

Hybrid; report to Minneapolis office twice per week. When remote, requires access to a reliable internet connection. Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Required Skills, Education, And Experience

• U.S. law degree
• Active license to practice law in at least one state, preferably Minnesota
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Excellent presentation, organization, and communications skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines
• Proficient at legal research
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work effectively independently and with a team

Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
