About the role
Support Lean and continuous improvement projects across operations.
- Participate in Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement activities.
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in documenting standard work instructions and process maps.
- Conduct basic time studies and process observations.
- Help identify and eliminate waste using Lean methodologies.
- Support 5S workplace organization initiatives and audits.
- Track improvement project progress and maintain documentation.
- Assist with root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and Pareto Analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
- Support Lean training and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, or continuous improvement environments.
- Basic understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Ability to train new team members.
- Ability to update WI’s/SOP’s as needed.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance; report to work on time.
Pay
$19.00 to $23.00 an hour
Schedule
Full Time - Monday through Friday
