Qualifications
- One to two years of related professional experience in building engineering and design (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, audiovisual and low voltage systems or similar)
- Two-year or higher degree in a relevant technical field required. Four-year degree preferred.
- AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) professional certification preferred (or commitment to achieve certification within 12 months)
- Commitment to relevant ongoing professional development and technical training
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables and shift priorities as necessary
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form
- A general understanding of commercial and institutional AV technology applications and operations including familiarity with audio systems and sound reinforcement, video display technologies, video collaboration solutions, and digital signage platforms. Additionally, knowledge of AV signal management and integrated control systems is preferred, as well as experience with data networking.
