Associate Consultant - Stop Loss

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business (number of accounts dependent on other responsibilities and factors) with assistance from an Account Coordinator or Senior Account Coordinator
• Create client deliverables and written recommendations
• Adhere to established peer review requirements, remaining open to constructive feedback
• Present client deliverables, as needed, to the core team and/or client with leadership supervision
• Support new practice initiatives
• Potential responsibility related to growth (build relationship and working parameters with growth team)
• Be seen as a Subject Matter Expert by core teams and/or clients
• Handle minimal escalations required to complete traditional renewals
• Act as first line of defense for escalated issues related to marketing, claims, and/or clinical matters, with the ability to discern further escalation to Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent (3-5 years of client services experience is required)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within the brokerage industry
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
• Able to complete continuing education requirements as needed
• Able to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
• Able to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
