Associate Consultant

About the role

In this position, you will work closely with clients to define geospatial-centric solutions and coordinate their implementation and delivery. You will help solve complex geospatial problems by evaluating and translating the customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies. This team supports all aspects of Federal engagement delivery, with a focus on Federal Health and Sciences customers. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate configuration engineers, software developers, and system engineers to deliver capabilities that enable customers to make a difference.

The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri, breaking ground in new markets, pushing the technology envelope, and delivering transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization comprises nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals dedicated to helping users succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support developing the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk management
• Manage projects and support customers throughout the entire project life cycle, including requirements, analysis, design, build, and implementation
• Collaborate with various Esri teams to establish, develop, and expand relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
• Help clients translate real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art solutions
• Provide business development support toward technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
• Professional experience supporting the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise geospatial technology
• Demonstrated ability to translate a customer’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into solutions
• Ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
• Proposal writing experience, including preparing executive summaries, solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricing
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analysis, or similar geospatial technology
• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, or related field

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, or related field
• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $74,880 USD - $99,840 USD.
