Who We Are Looking For

The Crisis Security Consulting (CSC) team at Crisis24 is seeking an Associate Consultant to join an expanding team. The ideal candidate will be based in the US or Canada, working remotely but with potential for overseas travel to support response and consulting tasks.

  • A candidate with geopolitical knowledge and interest, language abilities, and a willingness to adapt to international projects is sought.
  • The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area and 1-2 years of relevant work experience, with desired language abilities.

What You Will Work On

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects supporting the wider Crisis Security Consulting department. Duties include:

  • Supporting the creation of bespoke reporting and threat assessments across different geographies and threat types.
  • Working on threat analysis and presenting findings to clients.
  • Assisting with operations on the ground during domestic and international deployments.
  • Editing and proofreading work done by peers.
  • Participating in out-of-hours tasks as part of a rotating “on-call” system.

Who You Will Work With

The Associate Consultant will collaborate with the wider Associate Consultant team, supporting the international consulting team across the Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific. They will also work closely with the Crisis and Security Consulting department and GardaWorld partners.

What You Will Bring

  • A Master’s degree in International Relations/Security Studies (or similar) field.
  • Experience working in diverse environments.
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to work, including the potential for extended overseas deployments.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • A strong understanding of Security and Risk Management principles.
  • A very high standard of written and verbal English, with preference for native/business-level Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • 1-2 years of relevant industry-specific experience in a related field.
  • Experience traveling in high-risk regions/countries.
  • A demonstrable understanding of regional security issues and prominent threats.
  • A knowledge of cyber threats, cyber threat actors, and malware/ransomware variants.
  • A familiarity with OSINT monitoring platforms and applications.
  • A valid driver's license.

Information Security

To protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders, the Associate Consultant must adhere to policies, report incidents and potential problems, complete regular training, and identify opportunities for improvement.
