Associate Construction Material Testing Technician (Travel Required to Milan, Missouri)

About the role

This position requires frequent travel to project sites outside of our standard office locations. Training and onboarding will take place at the office closest to the selected candidate. After training is complete, the selected candidate will travel to the assigned project location in Milan, Missouri. A per diem allowance may be provided to help cover travel-related expenses.

Responsibilities

• Independently collect construction materials samples from various construction sites
• Perform tests and inspections to assess the properties and integrity of those materials
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders
• Facilitate informed decision-making and maintain the structural integrity and safety of construction projects

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or a related field
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Ace degree from a technical or four-year school, preferred but not required
• Applicable ACI Grade 1, ICC Nuclear Gauge, or Department. of Transportation/Road certifications, preferred but not required
