Associate Compliance Specialist

Pay Range: $22.61 - $30.15

About the role

This position is responsible for evaluating, monitoring and/or documenting compliance activities while communicating and making recommendations to management to help ensure the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete primarily less complex and/or lower risk assignments by thoughtfully, effectively and efficiently reviewing data, transactions, records, processes and other outcomes according to departmental policies and procedures timely and according to department standards.
• Research, study and learn applicable laws and regulations, product features, systems and processes.
• Develop summary information and recommendations based on results of your assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience: 2+ years of Banking or Regulatory related experience (or educational equivalent)

Skills and Abilities: Good written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, Analyze and creatively solve problems, Good research skills and familiarity with banking laws and regulations, Collaborate and establish working relationships at all levels of the company, Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Perform in a fast-paced environment, completing many tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and an appropriate sense of urgency

Qualifications

Tasks Performed: 80% - Complete primarily less complex and/or lower risk assignments by thoughtfully, effectively and efficiently reviewing data, transactions, records, processes and other outcomes according to departmental policies and procedures timely and according to department standards. 10% - Research, study and learn applicable laws and regulations, product features, systems and processes. 5% - Develop summary information and recommendations based on results of your assignments. 5% - Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers, Stationary 75% of time or greater, Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
