Key Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and commission automated material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and hardware issues using schematics and technical documentation.
- Perform equipment testing, system validation, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Configure hardware and software components to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct system performance testing and verify functional operation.
- Prepare commissioning reports, documentation, and check sheets.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, customers, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide technical training and support to staff, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
Top Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for automated systems.
- Prior proven experience in hardware/software configuration, diagnostics, and repair.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%) and perform overtime as needed.
- Safety-conscious mindset with experience working in cleanroom and industrial environments.
Education & Experience
- A High School Diploma required.
- An Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical or electrical technical experience; semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with PLC and PC-controlled systems, robotics, and reading electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Familiarity with tools, industrial equipment, and safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Skills & Certifications
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Valid safety certifications and adherence to industry safety standards.
