Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, located in Bakersfield, California, is an acute psychiatric and behavioral 90-bed facility situated on 8.8 acres. We offer inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults needing mental/behavioral health, chemical dependency, and co-occurring disorders treatment through our medically supervised detoxification. About the Role
Counsel individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, mental or behavioral health issues, and family situations. Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans. Provide psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families as a member of an interdisciplinary team, supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy to ensure the delivery of quality care.

Requirements
We are looking for humans who care, with a focus on those who bring their heart to work. While meeting the following minimum requirements is necessary, we prioritize candidates with experience in mental healthcare environments.
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (MSW, MFT) required.
- At least two (2) years of experience, with one (1) year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting preferred. Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- California-issued associate-level registration or higher.
Pay
Associate (License-Eligible) wage range: $27.39/hr. - $38.21/hr. Weekend differential applies.
