About the Role
The Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) contributes to account sales, service, and support activities for all Oncology products. The role focuses on ensuring patient adherence to prescribed test cadences to improve patient outcomes. The individual will identify areas of improvement in clinical workflows, test fulfillment, internal systems, and processes. Responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining key relationships with customers and internal partners to enable Signatera patient retention and unit growth within existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with assigned COS to grow, maintain, and support existing customers.
- Build relationships with key personnel at assigned Oncology accounts to facilitate unit growth.
- Analyze and monitor patient testing to ensure patients remain on the protocol prescribed by the Oncologist.
- Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on customer support, coordination of logistics, and problem-solving.
- Become an expert on all Natera Oncology products and processes to maximize effectiveness in the field.
- Educate medical professionals on the tools and resources Natera provides to facilitate test order management.
- Utilize and maintain internal reports of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient retention and fulfilled order volume.
- Be a key team player within the sales organization, partnering with internal stakeholders such as sales reps, patient coordinators, and territory managers to achieve the best outcomes for the patient and provider.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Medical assistant, clinical support, patient liaison, or nursing background, or a minimum of 2 years of sales experience.

- Fluent in understanding data spreadsheets and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn software and reporting systems.
Pay
The total on-target earnings (OTE) package includes a competitive base salary paired with uncapped, quarterly commissions. The compensation package also offers a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units. OTE for the first year ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 USD, based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
