About the Role

Fully remote, full-time position. Must be able to work independently from home during standard daytime work hours, roughly 9am to 5pm ET.

Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and revise assigned content based on scheduled and triggered review cycles, customer needs and requests, and current events in health care such as guideline updates under the guidance of a Clinical Editor.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and adheres to current clinical practice guidelines and standards.
  • Support the editing and updating of assigned content based on scheduled review cycles.
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
  • Engage with internal teams to support content needs and respond to basic clinical inquiries from the Customer Success and Service team under the guidance of a Clinical Editor.
  • May support the JIRA ticket process.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Stay aware of related professional organization and/or governing body updates regarding nursing practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Patient Engagement leadership team.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Some experience in authoring/writing content; healthcare-related quality, practice, or regulatory requirements; and developing education materials strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of learner-centered or adult-learning principles, health literacy, and plain language principles.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to stay current with the latest developments in nursing and healthcare.

Skills

  • Strong writing skills with a clear, concise style and excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Able to identify and assess evidence to determine the highest quality evidence and analyze, synthesize, and apply it when authoring, reviewing, and updating content.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be willing to use generative AI to enhance work and improve efficiency.

Pay

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates:

  • Colorado: $71,600 - $119,400
  • Illinois: $75,200 - $125,500
  • Chicago, IL: $78,700 - $131,400
  • Maryland: $75,200 - $125,500
  • Ohio: $68,000 - $113,400

This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
