Associate Care Director (WA)

Aegis Living Laurelhurst is seeking an Associate Care Director to provide quality care to elderly residents and leadership to care staff. This role is an integral member of the health care team, assisting with the implementation of care functions and medication passes in assisted living and licensed nursing communities, as well as supporting care staff scheduling to ensure safe resident care.

Schedule

Saturday–Wednesday, AM shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Schedule all community care staff.
• Find coverage for care staff call-outs.
• Manage care-related forms and report staff overtime.
• Work direct personal care shifts as directed by the Care Director.
• Assist in training of care staff.
• Participate in management of staff.
• Opportunity for growth to Care Director.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA license required.
• 1+ years of experience in caregiving for elderly patients or residents.
• 1+ year of experience as a Medication Technician with nurse delegation in Senior Living.
• Commitment to high-quality standards for resident care.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Skilled at building positive relationships with residents, families, and care team members.
• Strong computer skills.
• Effective communication techniques (oral and written).
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test.

Pay

$26.00–$27.00 per hour.
