Position Summary

The Associate Buyer, Women’s RTW (Multibrand), supports the growth and profitability of the Women’s Multibrand RTW business through merchandise procurement, business analysis, inventory management, and vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business performance and provide actionable recommendations to drive sales and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels, SKU productivity, and seasonal performance to maximize sell-through and maintain healthy stock levels.
  • Partner with stores and vendors to react to in-season opportunities through transfers, reorders, and inventory swaps.
  • Track merchandise receipts and coordinate inventory flow to support business objectives.
  • Support assortment planning and buying activities for Women's Multibrand RTW.
  • Prepare for and attend market appointments, assisting with product selection, order writing, and assortment reviews.
  • Manage purchase order entry, style creation, and related administrative functions.
  • Build strong vendor relationships to support exclusive product opportunities, in-store events, training initiatives, and sales-driving programs.
  • Cook up weekly product photography and website launches, ensuring product accuracy and brand presentation.
  • Partner with digital and marketing teams to drive online sales through product launches, email campaigns, and social media exposure.
  • Identify products and brands for featured digital content, newsletters, and social campaigns.
  • Support initiatives that increase online engagement and strengthen the Women's RTW digital presence.
  • Develop and distribute product knowledge materials for stores and internal teams.
  • Communicate key information regarding seasonal deliveries, new brand launches, and vendor-supported selling initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Accounts Payable, Store Leadership, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and marketplace to identify emerging brands, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance assortment strategy and customer relevance.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, planning, or a related retail function.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, inventory management, and business analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial retail environment.
  • Knowledge of the luxury fashion market and current industry trends.
