About the role
FabFitFun is seeking an Associate Buyer, Home to join our Merchandising team. This role is a key member of our buying organization, responsible for building and maintaining brand partnerships that drive growth across our seasonal subscription boxes and e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities
- Drive and exceed revenue goals by managing a portion of Tier 2 & 3 brand relationships (new and existing).
- Source products and follow up on leads across the Home & Fashion categories for e-Commerce opportunities.
- Foster brand relationships to ensure brand growth, member satisfaction, and retention.
- Partner with Senior Buyer and Buyer on creating a balanced, diversified assortment that serves members and business in a strategic, focused way.
- Negotiate and create vendor agreements and contracts with brands, working cross-functionally with Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Social Media teams to execute deals.
- Ensure products are seasonally relevant and on-brand for FFF members, with a clear understanding of product and style components within category.
- Partner with our Operations team to vet brands and products, and ensure on-time delivery and data accuracy of products on site.
- Work with our Customer Service team to communicate product-related issues.
- Own marketing efforts for assigned box products and help manage brand campaigns with our Marketing and Editorial teams.
- Provide clear and timely communication on Box and Ecomm timelines, PO management, and vendor needs.
- Contribute to business analysis (hindsights) and recommend key takeaways to influence and support strategies.
- Support Director and Senior Buyer by entering and maintaining accurate brand data and assets in SalesForce, Ironclad, and Wrike, and by updating internal documents.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of buying or merchandising experience (preferably within an e-commerce environment) with proven abilities in relationship management and exposure to negotiations and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience negotiating complex deals with vendors and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong grasp of financial planning and retail math concepts, with the ability to connect them back to category goals.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams.
- Solution-oriented, with the ability to evaluate scenarios prior to bringing to Director/Senior Buyer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Salesforce, with the aptitude to learn new technical applications quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated fluency with modern AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and the ability to apply them practically for data synthesis, market research, workflow acceleration, and business analysis.

Pay
This is a full-time position with an expected base salary range of $70,000 – $72,000. The compensation package also includes an initial equity grant, in addition to medical, dental, vision, and other perks.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 4 days a week in-office (Monday–Thursday).
