Kid to Kid is a buy-sell-trade store for babies and kids. We buy gently used clothes, shoes, toys and equipment from people in the community—paying cash on the spot or offering even more in store credit. We then sell those items in our store at huge discounts. At Kid to Kid, we focus on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and helping the environment.

About the role

Our Buyers are responsible for inspecting incoming items to determine what to buy into inventory. We’re hiring dependable, friendly people who want to stay busy during their working hours and who take pride in keeping the store organized and shoppable. Our team members cross-train across multiple areas of the store, and advancement opportunities are real—we love to grow our people from within.

Looking for availability: Closing shift 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 3+ days per week. Saturday availability is required. We're closed Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful & nice to our customers—our store vibe is everything.
• Cashiering while making friends and teaching them how to sell to us.
• Presort incoming clothes, toys, and equipment brought in from vendors (people from the community who want to sell to us).
• Test toys and assemble equipment.
• Price using our computer system to buy in and price incoming clothes, toys, and equipment.
• Tag, sort & hang clothes, toys, and baby equipment—you get to see the amazing items sold to us before anyone else!
• Restocking as needed—we make sure our customers always have new things to find!
• Learn Kid-to-Kid's systems and procedures (don’t worry, we help by providing online and in-store training!).
• Share our current promotional events and sales with customers in the store and online.
• Maintain good housekeeping—with all the great stuff coming in and the kids playing, there is always tidying up to be done.
• Create social media posts to engage with our customers.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
