Associate - Business (West Palm Beach)

About the role

Taft is seeking a team-oriented associate to join its Business practice in the West Palm Beach office. The ideal candidate will have experience working both collaboratively and independently in managing components of complex transactions and possess substantive experience in a broad range of corporate matters, including entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private placements. Candidates should have a strong academic background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to providing practical, business-oriented legal counsel to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage components of complex transactions

• Possess substantive experience in a broad range of corporate matters

• Experience with mergers and acquisitions

Requirements

• 3+ years of corporate law experience
• Strong academic background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing practical, business-oriented legal counsel to clients

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Florida
