About the role
LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Associate Business Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
Responsibilities
- Support creation of user stories, process flows, workflows, and business documentation.
- Help identify business process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Aid in documenting current-state and future-state processes.
- Aid in creation of basic wireframes, mockups, screen flows, and process diagrams to support business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and development teams to clarify user experience expectations and workflow designs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos.
- Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and developers to support delivery activities.
- Aid in tracking requirements, defects, enhancements, and project tasks.
- Support testing activities including test case validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
- Help ensure business requirements are accurately implemented and validated.
- Create and maintain business requirements documents, meeting notes, user guides, and process documentation.
- Support data analysis and reporting activities using spreadsheets, reporting tools, or dashboards.
- Maintain documentation within Agile and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, operations, IT, QA, and vendors.
- Communicate project updates, requirements clarifications, and documentation changes effectively.
- Escalate issues, risks, or blockers to senior team members when appropriate.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 years experience in Business Analysis, Operations, IT Support, Project Coordination, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related preferred
- Experience with business analysis principles and SDLC concepts
- Agile methodologies experience such as Scrum or Kanban preferred
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other Agile/project management tools is a plus
- Exposure to process mapping, workflow analysis, or reporting tools preferred
- Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or system integrations is a plus
- Internship or prior experience supporting technology or business initiatives preferred
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
