Responsibilities
- Reviews new and renewal business applications to confirm appropriate information for coverage placement.
- Conducts agency and carrier visits outside the physical location of the profit center.
- Performs principal brokerage work for complex E&S assignments, using independent decision making and discretion.
- Accepts or declines risks and determines placement with various carriers.
- Promotes policies and improves processes.
- Ensures quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings are made, and taxes are paid within applicable state laws.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active state insurance license.
- One (1) or more years of successful P&C insurance experience.
Qualifications
- Self-starter with commitment to customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to make independent decisions and use discretion.
- Proficiency in using independent decision-making tools and processes.
Skills
- Insurance licensing and experience.
