Associate (Bankruptcy and Restructuring)
About the role
Saul Ewing is seeking a highly qualified Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Debtor (in and out of court) and creditors’ committee representation experience is strongly preferred. A strong academic background and excellent research, writing and communication skills are required. Must be admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings
- Prepare and present legal arguments and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal issues
- Assist in client meetings and negotiations
Requirements
- Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong academic background
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Passing grade on the bar exam
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role is $195,000 - $215,000.
Schedule
Full-time position.
