The Associate Banker is responsible for actively promoting and selling bank products and services, building account relationships, and performing teller duties. Approximately 50% of the role’s activities are devoted to sales and sales support, with additional office and administrative duties as needed. Some Associate Bankers may serve as Area Associate Bankers, supporting multiple branch locations.
Responsibilities
- Open new accounts and perform deposit account maintenance.
- Respond to customers promptly and courteously, ensuring forms are completed accurately and customers understand account terms and conditions.
- Provide required disclosures and ensure customers receive proper documentation.
- Maintain an appropriate blend of teller referrals and production to meet branch referral and point goals.
- Provide basic information on consumer loan products and refer potential loan customers to the appropriate specialist.
- Perform sales support activities for the branch’s sales area.
- Execute office and administrative duties assigned to support operational needs.
- For Area Associate Bankers, support a number of branch locations as assigned.
Pay
Starting at $19+ per hour, dependent on experience (DOE).
Schedule
Full‑Time, regular schedule.
