About the role
The Banking Associate role is a professional position within Personal & Commercial Banking at TD. This role is responsible for delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location, performing a wide range of tasks, and providing advice and educational support on banking products and services.
Responsibilities
- Processes customer transactions and opening new accounts
- Provides consultative support and proactively recommends products and services
- Engages customers through lead management activities like outbound calls, SMS, and appointment setting
- Ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty by managing wait times and resolving customer issues
- Completes daily banking transactions accurately using TD’s systems and tools
- Manages customer relationships by offering financial advice and deepening connections
- Complies with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with customers in any capacity
- Customer service skills
- Teller experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
