This role plays a vital role in bringing TD's human, relationship-driven banking experience to life. As a trusted guide for our clients, you will deliver everyday banking with accuracy, confidence, and clarity while helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered to achieve their financial goals—all while upholding TD's strong risk and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, acting as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location by seamlessly guiding traffic flow and delivering a high-touch client experience.
- Deliver accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying client needs and opportunities to help them reach their financial goals.
- Refer clients to appropriate partners to help achieve their financial objectives.
- Engage clients with professionalism, focusing on educating them about products and self-serve solutions while using insights to recommend tailored solutions.
- Turn routine client transactions into meaningful moments by providing personalized, relationship-driven interactions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic banking products and services, utilizing insights, tools, and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
- Perform a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
- Identify and assess client problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures; escalate non-standard issues internally.
- Orchestrate the overall client experience by managing client flow (in-person and phone), resolving inquiries, and making referrals to appropriate partners.
- Serve as a hospitality ambassador, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences aligned with TD’s service strategy.
- Create personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust from the initial engagement and strengthen ongoing relationships.
- Balance client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness to ensure compliant and responsible outcomes.
- Proactively educate clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience, save time, and support financial well-being.
- Connect clients to specialists as needed to help them achieve long-term financial goals.
- Advocate for clients by demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective in all interactions.
- Maintain compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect clients.
- Act as a trusted first point of contact in safeguarding the integrity of client relationships by adhering to AML laws and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately verify client identification, maintain data integrity, and follow established authentication and documentation standards.
- Identify potential discrepancies, material changes, or risk indicators and escalate appropriately in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Act in accordance with TD's code of conduct and ethical standards in every decision.
- Complete required training and continuously strengthen risk and compliance knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by aligning with TD’s Model, Brand, and Culture as a fully engaged team member.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of demonstrated experience working with clients (experience can include volunteering, education, or military service).
- Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing or financial institution role preferred.
- Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Notary License preferred.
