Company transitioned from Bosch to Radionix, focusing on a unified security ecosystem that integrates intrusion systems, G Series panels, and the Remote Security Manager app. The Fairport, NY headquarters houses sales, marketing, research and development, engineering, quality, and product management for intrusion detection technologies.
About The Role
Join the Quality Engineering team as an early-career Automation Engineer. You’ll work with a large, established automation suite primarily built in Python and Robot Framework, contributing to new test development, maintenance, and continuous improvement. While the focus is on web and backend systems, you’ll also support expanding mobile app automation. This hybrid role requires on-site collaboration Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the Fairport office.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and requirement analysis
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems and components
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and automation improvements
- Support occasional mobile automation initiatives
- Participate in performance, load, and reliability testing, including test design, execution, and analysis
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience preferred, or recent graduate with strong technical competency and internship/co-op experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Solid grasp of testing principles, requirement analysis, and test design
- Ability to deep-dive into complex issues and work collaboratively to resolve them
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Familiarity with performance or load testing concepts (e.g., concurrency, throughput, resource utilization)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Exposure to mobile automation (Appium, BrowserStack, etc.)
- Experience with API testing
- Familiarity with version control best practices (Git)

Pay
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 – $85,000 per year. Individual pay is determined based on work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, and other factors.
