Associate Attorney - Warranty Litigation

About the Role

Segal McCambridge, a premier national litigation firm, is seeking a driven and dynamic Associate Attorney to join our growing warranty defense litigation team. This position offers a hybrid work environment and can be based in our Los Angeles or San Francisco offices, or the attorney can sit remotely if outside those geographic areas.

Responsibilities

• Handle significant case responsibilities, including drafting briefs, managing discovery, taking depositions, appearing in court, and contributing at trial.

Requirements

• Active California Bar License.
• Minimum 1 year of civil defense litigation experience, including pleadings, motion practice, depositions, written discovery, and case management.
• Experience with California Warranty Law, including the Song-Beverly Act and related statutes (preferred but not required).
• Exceptional research, writing, and advocacy skills with a passion for litigation.
• Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to meet multiple deadlines under pressure.
• Proven track record of producing top-quality legal work and maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ownership mentality in handling projects.
