Top firm seeks Sr level Attorney with significant litigation experience with Public Entity clients!

Responsibilities

• Providing legal counsel to public entities on a wide range of issues, including land use, labor, and employment matters.
• Drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Representing public entities in litigation, administrative proceedings, and negotiations.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions on complex issues of municipal law.
• Advising public entities on compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the legal compliance and efficiency of public entities.
• Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in public entity law, with a focus on municipal law, land use, labor, and employment matters.
• Demonstrated experience providing legal counsel to public entities, including cities, counties, and special districts.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
• Ability to handle a high-volume workload and manage multiple cases with competing deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.

Pay

$150,000 - $250,000 per year
