Associate Attorney - Litigation

About the role

F3 Law provides essential legal support to California's public schools and community colleges, helping them navigate complex legal issues to fulfill their mission of serving students and communities. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Litigation Attorney in our Oakland office to assist K-12 schools and community colleges in overcoming a wide range of legal challenges.

Responsibilities

Assist K-12 schools and community colleges in overcoming a wide range of legal challenges.

Qualifications

• 6‑10+ years of litigation experience, ideally encompassing the full spectrum of civil litigation, from initiation to resolution, including drafting and arguing motions (e.g., summary judgment) and taking/defending depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently, handling cases from start to finish.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Preferred experience: insurance defense and public entity defense; federal court and trial experience (beneficial but not required).
• California Bar admission required.

Pay

Base salary ranges between $160,000 and $195,000, commensurate with experience and practice years.
