About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Lending Finance to join our dynamic legal team. This key role will focus on supporting our clients in the commercial finance sector, providing expert advice on various legal aspects, including UCC Article 9, title surveys, lease reviews, corporate structure, and lien searches. The successful candidate will be expected to handle complex financial transactions, conduct thorough legal research, and provide strategic legal solutions. This role demands a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of lending finance matters, including commercial finance, UCC Article 9, title surveys, lease reviews, and lien searches.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and risk management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, leases, and loan agreements.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings and effectively present their case.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering legal advice aligned with their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to client service.
  • Contribute to the firm's knowledge sharing by providing insights on lending finance law developments.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an attorney specializing in lending finance.
  • Proficient understanding of commercial finance, UCC Article 9, title surveys, lease reviews, corporate structure, and lien searches.
  • Admission to practice law in the state.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commitment to high professional standards and client service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with lending finance law developments.
