About the role
Meagher + Geer is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their Chicago, IL team.
Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and depositions
- Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
Requirements
- Strong background in civil litigation with experience in insurance defense in auto liability, construction, insurance coverage, premises liability, and/or professional liability defense
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Strong analytical, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Bar passage and Illinois state licensure
- Litigation experience, court of appeals or judicial clerkship experience preferred
