About the role

Join a sophisticated estate planning, tax, and private client practice built on established relationships, high-level legal work, and a strong foundation of client trust.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related planning matters
  • Draft, revise, and finalize wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related estate planning documents
  • Aid with wealth transfer, asset protection, charitable planning, business succession, and tax-sensitive planning strategies
  • Support probate and trust administration matters, including fiduciary guidance, beneficiary communication, filings, deadlines, and administration strategy
  • Translate complex legal and tax concepts into clear, practical guidance for clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver accurate, responsive, and high-quality client service
  • Represent clients in probate court and related proceedings when necessary
  • Contribute to firm growth through strong client service, professional relationships, and business development efforts

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required
  • Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing required
  • 3+ years of estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax planning, or related private client experience required
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning strongly preferred
  • Experience serving high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, or closely held business clients preferred
  • Strong understanding of estate planning, probate, trust administration, asset protection, and tax-sensitive planning
  • Experience with federal estate and gift tax returns preferred
  • Familiarity with business entity formation, charitable giving, and succession planning preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Professional maturity, sound judgment, discretion, and a client-first mindset
  • Portable book of business welcomed, but not required

  • Base salary of $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience
