Associate Attorney – Civil Defense Litigation

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters throughout Oklahoma.
• Conduct court appearances, hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct client and witness interviews.
• Assist with case strategy, legal research, and trial preparation.
• Handle matters filed in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, as well as Oklahoma state courts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage multiple active cases and litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
• Experience with civil defense, insurance defense, employment claims, civil rights, or constitutional law is a plus.
