Associate Attorney - Bankruptcy

About the role

Our client in Dallas Texas is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a fast-paced, high-volume consumer bankruptcy practice. This is a highly client-facing position for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and can confidently manage cases, hearings, and frequent client meetings. The attorney will generally assume responsibility for matters around the signing phase and remain involved throughout the case. The practice operates on a flat fee model with no billable-hour requirement, allowing attorneys to focus on effectively managing their caseload and serving clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume bankruptcy caseload from signing through completion
• Prepare for and attend bankruptcy hearings and related proceedings
• Conduct frequent and sometimes back-to-back client meetings
• Advise clients throughout the bankruptcy process and clearly communicate next steps
• Manage expectations and navigate challenging client conversations professionally
