Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of complex litigation matters
• Drafting and responding to correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and motions; taking and defending depositions; participating in hearings, arbitrations, and trials
• Performing legal research, drafting documents, keeping client files up to date, and moving forward
• Analyzing issues in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clients
• Timely delivery of work product, assignments, motions, etc.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in Georgia is required.
• Florida, New York, or other state bar membership is a huge plus
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law
• Legal Malpractice experience is a plus

Law Firm GC, LLC is a unique and growing law firm, primarily representing lawyers and law firms. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, but representing clients throughout the country, we assist lawyers and law firms in various areas such as starting law firms, law firm structuring, partnership agreements, buying and selling law firms, lateral moves, separation agreements, law firm dissolutions, legal malpractice, attorney fee disputes, risk management, succession planning, ethics advice, and more. While our primary focus is on the representation of lawyers and law firms, we also represent business clients in other industries.
