Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle complex cases with a Partner
• Manage cases independently
• Litigate complex civil cases
• Develop skills in trial preparation, drafting, bench trials, jury trials, depositions, mediations, and complex discovery
• Communicate proactively and empathetically with clients
• Manage a docket of approximately 40 to 60 cases

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas, and in good standing
• Demonstrated aptitude in trial preparation, drafting, bench trials, jury trials, depositions, mediations, and complex discovery
• Proactive and timely case communications
• Consistent, empathetic client communications
• Ability to manage a docket of approximately 40 to 60 cases

Compensation

$121,500 - $192,375/year base salary (commensurate with experience), plus additional bonus structures available. Senior Associate and Partnership tracks also available to all associates.
