Associate Attorney

About the role

The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a Family law firm that prides itself on delivering personal service with large firm experience to help New Jersey residents achieve the best possible result in their divorce. Together we are searching for an Associate Attorney to join their team at their Clinton, NJ location. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Gather evidence in divorce and other family law cases to initiate legal action.
• Review and analyze evidence and financial information including tax returns, corporate benefits, and financial statements.
• Formulate strategies for settlement.
• Conduct research, interview clients, and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trial.
• Prepares legal briefs, arguments, and testimony in preparation for the presentation of the case.
• Files briefs and other pleadings, motions, and documents with the court clerk.
• Represents clients in court.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
• J.D. from an accredited institution.
• 1-3 Years of Family Law Experience in NJ.
• Good standing admission to practice law in the State of New Jersey with an absence of disciplinary history.
• Completion of all required CLE classes each year to remain in good standing with New Jersey Supreme Court rules.

Pay

$100k- $130k based on experience.
