YOU ARE:
- A stellar attorney with at least 4-6 full years’ experience in employment law.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
- Conscientious, thorough and you take the accuracy of your work seriously.
- Proactive, driven and good under pressure.
- Eager to learn and improve on the job, so you are receptive to feedback.
- Polished, poised, practical, energetic and you have a strong work ethic.
You would:
- Report to the Head of the Employment Department.
- Have varied activities including multiple, simultaneous projects that offer learning opportunities.
- Use your expertise-based problem-solving skills to offer innovative solutions.
- Be required to have a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy.
- Advise employers on day-to-day workplace issues and deliver practical, plain English advice.
- Draft, review, and revise demand letters, complaints, and motion papers in employment-related disputes.
- Aid with all substantive aspects of employment disputes, including agency submissions, drafting discovery requests and responses and preparing for depositions.
- Draft and update contracts, handbooks and other employment-related agreements and help clients implement compliant workplace practices.
- Lead by example: with your work ethic, your drive for success, and positive attitude.
- Be involved in client development, marketing and the growth of the firm.

- Total Compensation – $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience and performance).
