Qualifications
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, and other domestic relations matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure successful case outcomes.
- Participate in business development and networking activities to grow and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Minnesota, or ability to obtain admission if required.
- Minimum of 4 years of direct family law experience.
- Ability to independently manage a family law caseload.
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Portable book of business is strongly preferred.

Compensation
Compensation is highly dependent on experience, qualifications, and business development potential. Candidates bringing an existing book of business may be eligible for compensation above the stated range.
Work Environment
The firm supports a hybrid work environment and provides the tools necessary for remote work. However, occasional in-person meetings and court appearances may be required depending on practice needs.
