Associate Attorney

About the role

Our client, a law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney (0-2 years of experience) to join its Community Association Law practice. This role is ideal for a newly admitted or early-career attorney with some exposure to litigation and a strong interest in developing litigation skills. The position will involve a mix of civil litigation and advisory work related to condominium and homeowners' associations. The ideal candidate must have a genuine interest in litigation and be comfortable handling matters from inception through resolution with appropriate guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Support trial preparation and attend court proceedings as needed
• Advise condominium and homeowners' associations on legal matters
• Attend evening Board of Directors meetings when required
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar (required)
• 0-2 years of experience, with some exposure to litigation preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and grow
• Demonstrated interest in civil litigation
