Associate Attorney

About the role

We are a fast-growing defamation and internet law firm representing individuals, professionals, and businesses facing serious online harm — from cyberbullying to reputational attacks. This role is for an Associate Attorney ready to take action now, not someday.

Responsibilities

• Handle defamation and online harm cases from intake through resolution
• Draft complaints, motions, and demand letters
• Work directly with clients facing real reputational damage
• Address matters involving:
  • Cyberbullying (school, college, sorority, fraternity)
  • Anonymous online attacks and harassment
  • Defamatory blog and forum content
  • Online reviews and business defamation
  • Dark web-related reputational issues
  • Privacy violations and First Amendment-related disputes
• Develop case strategy and move matters forward aggressively

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing
• 1–5 years of experience preferred (litigation or writing-heavy roles ideal)
• Strong legal writer — clear, precise, persuasive
• Comfortable handling sensitive, high-stakes client situations
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Able to manage multiple matters without losing focus
• Driven to protect clients and hold bad actors accountable
• Member of the New York and New Jersey bar. New Jersey bar alone will be considered
• Ready to learn fast about defamation law

Pay

• Base Salary: $80,000 to $120,000
• Performance-based bonus structure
• Clear path to increased compensation based on results and contribution
