Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload
- Conduct depositions
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
- Review and analyze discovery requests
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
- Trial preparation and support
- Maintain accurate time records
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: general litigation, complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana
- Experience with motion practice and depositions
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions is preferred but not required
- Capable of independent work
- Work in an organized and efficient manner
- Superior research and writing skills
- Able to multi-task
- Able to analyze complex matters
