About the role
The successful candidate will be admitted to practice in the State of Texas and will exercise independent judgment and discretion to perform substantive functions in litigation matters. They must also be able to concentrate and pay close attention to detail 100% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Be admitted to practice in the State of Texas
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in litigation matters
- Pay close attention to detail 100% of the time
- Travel and maintain positive contact with clients
- Observe confidentiality in client matters
- Participate in the firm's marketing efforts and client development
- Work under the supervision of other attorneys
Requirements
- Admission to practice in the State of Texas
- Experience in construction defect, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and cyber liability
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Experience with litigation matters
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience preferred
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
