Associate Attorney
Represent mortgage servicer and investor clients in residential and commercial foreclosure, title, and general real estate litigation, including consumer claims directly against the firm’s clients. This role involves appearances in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings, case strategy development, document drafting, discovery, trials, evidentiary hearings, appeals, and settlement negotiations. Position may be in-office, hybrid, or fully remote based on candidate qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and handle a caseload of contested foreclosures, defensive litigation, and ancillary matters for mortgage servicers and investors.
- Prosecute commercial foreclosures from start to finish.
- Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
- Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, discovery demands, and responses.
- Appear in court for settlement conferences, case management, motion arguments, trials, hearings, and appeals.
- Communicate with clients to ensure quality representation and implementation of directives, including through client portals.
- Collaborate with support staff for document preparation, execution, and filing.
- Research and analyze complex cases; collaborate with partners on client advice and resolution.
- Create matter budgets, seek client fee approvals, and track billable/non-billable time.
- May include supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- J.D. degree and active Pennsylvania bar license in good standing (required).
- Bar license in New Jersey, New York, and/or Connecticut (a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant litigation experience (preferred; less experience considered for qualified candidates).
- Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Mortgage Foreclosure Law and practice (required).

Work Environment
Normal office working conditions with quiet to moderate noise levels.
Pay
$100,000–$150,000 annually.
