Associate Attorney

About the role

Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's rights law firms with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA and FL, seeking an Associate Attorney for its Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances within reasonable travel distance; ensure reliable on‑time appearance; may require overnight travel and driving a car for some locations.
• Review and request coverage for court calls where the associate will not appear, attaching necessary documents and orders for the coverage.
• Draft, review, and file motions during litigation as needed.
• Prepare for trials and arbitrations, which may involve overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communicate with consumers, their employers, and their attorneys to resolve accounts or suits.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina.
• Additional licensing in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and able to appear on time consistently using your own transportation.
• Willingness to travel; the firm reimburses mileage per IRS rates and other approved travel expenses in the subsequent pay period.
• Strong multi‑tasking ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills for a high‑volume caseload.
