Associate Attorney

What You'll Do

• Court Appearances - Prepare and appear timely and properly for court appearances within the eastern side of the state; ensure reliability and punctuality.
• Court Coverage Placements - Review and request coverage for court calls where an Associate will not appear, ensuring all necessary documents and orders are attached.
• Mid Litigation Motions and Responses - Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.
• Trials and Arbitrations - Prepare for trials and arbitrations as necessary, potentially requiring overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communications - Communicate with attorneys, employers, and consumers as necessary to resolve accounts and suits.

Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Kansas AND Missouri to practice law.
• Additional licensing in other states (IA NE ID CA WA OR AK HI NV) is welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and consistent on-time presence using personal transportation.
• Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Pay

Range: $85K to $115K
