For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. We need to remove boilerplate: EEO statements, legal notices, etc. Also remove navigation, cookie, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Also remove application instructions (like "To learn more about Lydecker LLP, please visit our website..."). We need to preserve all substantive information: position overview, job requirements, responsibilities, what we offer (including salary range, bonuses, benefits, work environment, etc.), about Lydecker (vision, mission, values, why join). However we must not create sections that are not present: we have sections: About the role (maybe corresponds to Position Overview), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to map content to these headings. - About the role: Could be the Position Overview paragraph. That's substantive. - Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities bullet list. - Requirements: Job Requirements includes bar license, JD, experience, etc. That's requirements. - Qualifications: Might be overlapping with requirements; but we need to decide if we have separate qualifications content. The posting includes "Job Requirements" which includes education, experience, skills, etc. There's also a separate "Computer skills", "Oral Communication", "Written Communication", "Ethics". Those could be considered Skills or Qualifications. The instruction says use headings for sections like Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which sections to include based on actual content. We have content for: - Requirements: bar license, JD, 2-5 years experience, etc. - Skills: computer skills, oral communication, written communication, ethics. - Qualifications: maybe we could treat "Requirements" as qualifications? But we need both headings if we have distinct content. The posting lumps many items under Job Requirements, but we could split: Requirements (license, JD, experience) and Qualifications (skills, communication, ethics). However the instruction says "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we combine into fewer sections. But we need to follow the rule: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. So we can include sections that have content. If we have content for both Requirements and Qualifications, we can include both. But we must avoid thin sections. Let's see if we can separate: Job Requirements paragraph includes: "This position requires a NY and CT bar license in good standing. A minimum of JD from an ABA approved law school 2-5 years of civil defense litigation experience, preferably in General liability, Labor and employment, property and causality or any insurance defense litigation. Previous experience should include working on up to 13 cases at once, attending and defending depositions, taking depositions, appearance in court, motion and discovery drafting; mediation and trial experience a plus but not required" Then after that: "Computer skills: Has basic knowledge of computer operation, internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software; the use of Microsoft products is preferred. Has the ability to type and operate office equipment. Be self-motivated and a self-starter, work well independently, and possess strong client communication skills" Then separate headings: "Oral Communication: ...", "Written Communication: ...", "Ethics: ..." Thus we have distinct content for skills/communication/ethics. Could group them under "Skills" heading (including computer skills, oral/written communication, ethics). Or we could have separate headings for Qualifications (maybe education/experience) and Skills (communication/computer/ethics). The instruction says use headings for sections like Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can have both Qualifications and Skills. Thus: - Qualifications: bar license, JD, 2-5 years experience, experience details (up to 13 cases, depositions, court appearances, motion/discovery drafting, mediation/trial experience a plus). That's substantive. - Skills: computer skills, oral communication, written communication, ethics. - Benefits: What We Offer includes mentorship, training, hybrid work environment, flexible work hours, medical insurance details, optional dental/vision, life/disability, accident, critical illness, cancer, hospitalization, HSA, FSA, 401k after one year, PTO, collegial work environment. Also includes quarterly bonuses, annual performance reviews, salary range (but salary range is Pay). So Benefits section should include non-pay benefits: mentorship, training, hybrid work environment, flexible work hours, medical insurance details, optional insurances, HSA, FSA, 401k, PTO, collegial work environment. - Pay: Salary range ($110k-14
